Step 1. Identify your talent needs and where they align with our students’ skills: Our Career Development and Partnerships Team can help with this in Toronto and Vancouver.

Step 2. Post your job description on NUworks, Northeastern University’s online job board platform. Experiential Learning Partnerships Specialists in Toronto and Vancouver can assist with this (contact information below).

Step 3. Participate in student engagement and recruitment events to connect with top talent  

Step 4. Coordinate interviews with candidates, in-person or virtually 

Step 5. Make an offer: Co-op Advisors will work with you and the students to ensure eligibility requirements are fulfilled based on the college they are enrolled in. Co-op Advisors will be your main point of contact throughout the co-op term.  

Step 6. Review learning goals and objectives with the students. Read the co-op Employer Handbook

Step 7. Co-op work term commences day-to-day 

Step 8. Conduct Midterm and Final Assessments
