Career Services

Career Services are designed to support students at every stage of their academic and professional journeys-both during their studies and beyond graduation. A comprehensive suite of resources is available to assist with career exploration, goal clarification, and the development of essential skills for a successful transition into the workforce.

Through one-on-one advising, interactive workshops, and networking events, students have opportunities to connect with career educators, industry professionals, and alumni. Services include guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies, all tailored to address the diverse strengths and aspirations of the student community. By engaging with Career Services, students are empowered to navigate their career paths with confidence and make informed decisions about their futures.

Co-operative Education

Co-operative Education (Co-op) is a signature feature of Northeastern University’s approach to learning, offering students the chance to integrate academic knowledge with practical, hands-on experience in professional settings. Through co-op, students apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges, develop industry-specific skills, and build valuable networks with employers and professionals. Participation in co-op is optional, and each academic program may have unique requirements and processes to guide students through the experience. Our dedicated team provides personalized support throughout the co-op journey, helping students identify opportunities, prepare for the application process, and maximize their professional growth during their placements.

Experiential Learning

Experiential learning is at the heart of our mission, empowering students to connect their academic studies with meaningful, real-world experiences. Beyond co-op, students can engage in internships, research projects, community service, and global learning opportunities that foster critical thinking, adaptability, and leadership. Our office offers resources and guidance to help students explore various experiential pathways, ensuring they develop the competencies and confidence needed to excel in today’s dynamic workforce. Through workshops, advising, and industry partnerships, we prepare students to make a lasting impact in their chosen fields and communities.
