Job Opportunities

NUworks Co-op Positions

About NUworks

NUworks is Northeastern University’s internal career management platform where co-op job opportunities are posted. This exclusive portal connects students with positions specifically curated for the Northeastern community and serves as the primary resource for finding co-op roles across all programs.

To apply for these positions—many of which are exclusive to Northeastern students—students must meet specific eligibility requirements. Co-op advisors will notify students when they are eligible to access NUworks and begin the application process.

Key features of NUworks include:

  • Job postings specifically targeted to Northeastern students
  • Employer profiles and information
  • Application tracking and management
  • Event registration for career fairs and employer sessions
  • Direct communication with co-op advisors

Accessing NUworks

Students can use NUworks as soon as they begin their program to:

  • Register for campus events
  • View job boards
  • Explore career resources
  • Access virtual events across Northeastern’s network

However, students will not have access to apply for co-op jobs in NUworks until they are in their recruitment term for co-op. This timing varies depending on the student’s program and whether they meet the eligibility criteria. When viewing jobs in NUworks, students may see the message: “you do not match the required Applicant Type for this job,” indicating their profile does not match the job’s application criteria such as start date, location, or length of co-op. If there are any questions regarding NUworks functionality, please refer to NUworks Help.

Co-op advisors will communicate expectations and timelines before a student’s recruitment term begins. Students should always monitor their Northeastern email for important updates regarding their co-op eligibility status and application access.
